What is the cost?
The entry level for a Robofusion® Licensee is $250,000. This is includes the first several Robofusion Kiosks (Frozen Yogurt or Ice Cream) and the non-exclusive license fee for the territory. In addition, in exchange for the use of Robofusion’s proprietary Intellectual Property, there is also a small monthly Licensee Fee that is based on the number of servings that each Kiosk produces.
Is financing available?
Robofusion does not finance the Kiosks or the Franchise Fee. However, we are currently working with a number of lending institutions that we can recommend. We are also working to become SBA-qualified in order to help streamline the process for our potential Licensees.
Ultimately, it is the responsibility of the potential Licensee and the Lending Institution to complete the Loan and/or Financial Vehicle.
How is this different from franchising?
Robofusion chose Licensing versus Franchising to give our Licensees greater flexibility in how they run their business. We do not sell Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt (unless you need it). Robofusion is a Kiosk Technology Company with exclusive patents on Frozen Yogurt & Ice Cream Robotic Kiosk.
Robofusion does not dictate how the Licensee should run their business, only how to operate the Kiosks. The Licensee has the freedom to choose where they will place the Kiosk, how it will be branded, and how the arrangement will work with the Venue where the Kiosk is being placed. However, we do give plenty of guidance regarding placement, marketing, and we train you for one week at Robofusion University on the full operation of the kiosk.
We also have developed branding for ice cream and yogurt kiosks and Licensees are free to use our branding, as long as it is done within our specifications.
What is required of the Licensee?
The Licensee is required to identify, place, and service the Kiosks at Venue locations within the Territory that they contract for. Robofusion will assist the Licensee in identifying the types of Businesses and Locations to pursue.
Before any Kiosk is placed in the Licensee territory, the Licensee must attend a 5-day Robofusion University course to learn how to operate and maintain the Kiosks.
The Licensee has the right to use one of our brand names, partner with another company and use their brand name, or use their own Brand name.
Robofusion requires that the Kiosks be operated and maintained according to Robofusion’s Standard Kiosk Operating Procedures.
How much rent will I pay to place a Robofusion Kiosk at a Venue?
Typically, Kiosks are either placed in a leased (rented) space within a Venue, or the Kiosk is placed under a Revenue Share Agreement with the Venue Owner. It will depend on the type of Venue that you are pursuing, the Market that you are in, and the preference of the Licensee. The contract with the Venue is between the Licensee and the Venue and does not include Robofusion (unless it is a large Corporate Account).
Is the Robofusion License Exclusive?
Exclusivity is available for certain territories/countries. The basic License is non-exclusive. You will be given the opportunity to place and operate Kiosks in the locations (or venues) that you negotiate within your defined zip code or territory.
What about Robofusion Corporate Accounts?
Robofusion is currently working with a number of Large National Chains and will be placing units across the Country (and potentially International) with these partners. If Robofusion places a Kiosk in your territory with a Corporate Account arrangement, you will be compensated for service and maintenance. Optionally, you might be given the opportunity to purchase the Kiosk and operate it inside the venue (depending upon the relationship that Robofusion has developed with the Corporate Partner).
How big of a territory or region can I purchase?
This depends upon availability, the team, capital and goals you have.
Can I buy the License Right to a State?
Yes, Robofusion is also selling the Master Licensing Rights to Individual States. As part of a Master Licensing agreement, the Master Licensee will also have the ability to sell sub-licenses within their State.
The cost of the Master License depends of the size and potential of the State that is being purchased. There will also be a reasonable ramp rate schedule that the Master Licensee will be expected to adhere to in order to maintain exclusivity.
Can I buy the License Rights to a Country outside of the US?
Yes, Robofusion is also selling the International Master Licensing Rights for individual Countries. This program works very similar to the Master Licensing agreement in the US where the Master Licensee will also have the ability to sell sub-licenses within their Country.
The cost of the International Master License depends of the size and potential of the Country that is being purchased. There will also be a reasonable ramp rate schedule that the International Master Licensee will be expected to adhere to in order to keep the exclusive rights to the Country.
Do I have to buy Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt from Robofusion?
No, Robofusion does not make Ice cream or Frozen Yogurt. Robofusion is a Technology Company. Robofusion can recommend many good mixes to suit your specifications.
